Certified Workable
Façade Bakery passed CoffeeBoy's laptop-work bar — laptop-friendly policy, wifi held up under load, outlets within reach. Wear it proudly:

The Details
The CoffeeBoy Review
Façade looks like an architecture firm and bakes like it means it. Sourdough, cruffins, and a tiramisu latte that should be illegal.
The Story
Façade opened in late 2024 in Coral Gables, founded by chef Oscar Lastra and baker Christian Julien — both formerly of the beloved La Natural — with creative director Diana Gonzalez. The result is a minimalist Scandinavian interior with tinted glass and a communal table that feels more gallery than café.
It's become the sourdough-and-pastry destination in the Gables, with a line that snakes out the door on weekends. The secret? Come on a weekday morning when the space is yours.
What to Order
The Cornflake Matcha is the CoffeeBoy pick — the viral one, and it earns the hype. Cornflake-crusted, sweet, and somehow perfect with the earthiness of the matcha.
The Tiramisu Latte is dessert in a cup. Rich, layered, gone too fast. It's the drink that made Façade famous on Instagram, and it's better in person than it looks on screen.
For the purist, a Pour-Over Flight — three single-origins side by side — lets you actually taste the difference. The Oat Milk Cortado is a small, punchy, two-sip masterpiece.
The Experience
Façade is quiet, design-forward, and genuinely good for creative work. The wifi tested strong at 40 Mbps, outlets run along the communal table and window bar, and the noise level stays low. Seating is workable rather than plush, but for a morning focus session or a portfolio review, it's hard to beat.
The weekday-morning window is the move. By late morning and on weekends, it fills with strollers and dogs — lovely, but not laptop energy. Time it right and you've got the gallery to yourself.
The Verdict
If you care about both design and coffee, Façade is your place. Quietly one of the best in Miami, with pastries worth crossing the county for. Come early, come focused, and bring your appetite.
