The Story

Panther Coffee is where Miami's specialty coffee scene started. Founded in 2010 by Joel and Leticia Pollock after they relocated from Portland, Oregon, Panther was Wynwood before Wynwood was a brand — roasting in-shop and hanging local art on the walls long before the murals took over the neighborhood. Fifteen years in, it's still the reference point.

What to Order

The Vanilla Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew is the CoffeeBoy pick and the order that built Wynwood. Their signature cold brew under a cloud of vanilla-bean cream foam — sweet, smooth, and dangerously drinkable.

The Nitro Cold Brew is nitrogen-infused and creamy, with a stout-like body that makes you question if it's coffee or dessert. The Pour Over Coffee is brewed to order in a Chemex from rotating single-origins. And the Panther Cold Brew Can is the move when you're headed to the beach.

Panther Wynwood is a working roastery with a massive shaded patio — think three times the interior seating, concrete benches, and a tree-focal table with actual power outlets. The wifi is strong (60 Mbps tested) and free (ask at the counter for the code).

The indoor space is tighter — a few tables and a window bar — so the patio is where the laptop campers live. It's the rare spot where you can work outdoors in Miami's heat because the shade, trees, and breeze make it survivable. Perfect for an afternoon session with a cold brew and a rotating art exhibit.

Panther is a Miami institution, full stop. The Wynwood location has the soul and the patio; the Little Haiti roastery has the space for deep work. Either way, you're drinking coffee from the people who started the whole thing.
